About
I'm Allison Marrill, a product leader based in Sydney, Australia, and the founder of Grove Product Studio.
Over the past 10 years, I've worked across a wide range of product environments, from pre-seed to Series C startups as well as Fortune 500 companies, helping teams clarify direction, validate ideas, and build with confidence. I specialise in product strategy, roadmapping, and fractional product leadership.
I created Grove to give founders and teams direct access to practical, senior-level product guidance, whether through a focused session, a deep-dive strategy review, or an embedded partnership.

Beyond product strategy
When engagements call for it, I also bring in an extended team of contract UX designers, developers, content strategists, and technical project managers, so you get senior product leadership with hands-on execution support when needed.
I also work closely with independent business owners on offer positioning, growth planning, and building systems that support steady progress.
What I've built
Alongside Grove, I run two of my own ventures, one digital and one physical. Both inform how I think about product, customers, and building businesses that scale.
Digital product
A visual writing companion for fiction writers. A minimalist world map and character view tool that gives you just enough visual context to stay oriented while you write, without the overhead of deep world-building software. Pin locations, track where characters move, and map the geography of your scenes, then get back to the actual writing. The waitlist is now live.
I built Wrender by trialing my Product Strategy Intensive offer and working with my dev resource, the same one clients can access through Grove.

When I'm not helping product teams and business owners, you might find me playing tennis, developing recipes for my cocktail mixer business, or writing my novel.
